New Assessments for 2023

We are very excited to annouce that we now offer a range of vascular assessments for the lower legs and feet.

1 in 5 of us, over the age of 60, have a degree of Peripheral Arterial Disease which is associated with cardiovasular disease.  This is particularly the case if you smoke, have diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis amongt other risk factors.

Our investigations include:

  • Doppler assessments with an advanced DMX Ultrasound

  • ABPI (Ankle Brachial Pressure Index)

  • TBPI (Toe Brachial Pressure Index)

If you have any concerns over your blood flow to your lower legs and feet, we can arrange for a partial or full vascular assessment - even if you are not an existing patient of the clinic.

Your Visit to the Clinic:
We take your safety during your visit very seriously

  • Since 2020 appointment times have been staggered to minimise your contact with other patients in the reception and waiting room.

  • We ask that patients attend by themselves where possible (with the exception of those under the age of 16, and those with learning difficulties or cognitive impairement).

  • As per current HSE guidelines (2023) we ask that you wear a mask during your visit. If you don't have one just let us know and we will provide you with one free of charge.

  • Hand sanitiser provided for use at the front door.

  • The clinic rooms are thoroughly wiped down between each patient, along with the contact surfaces of the card machine etc. The floors are steamed twice daily, and the highest possible standards of decontamination are adhered to throughout the clinic.
